Le lieu en bref...
Le Parc Mauresque, en Ville d'Hiver, domine la ville d'Arcachon. Dessiné dans l'esprit des parcs anglais, ses allées tout en rondeurs et en sinuosité épousent minutieusement les courbes du terrain. Intérêt botanique puisque constitué d'arbres d'origines diversifiées : gingko-biloba, magnolias, oliviers, roseraie… Aire de jeux sur le thème mauresque, théâtre de verdure, maquette du casino mauresque détruit en 1977, kiosque, ascenseur. Accés libre. L'Office de Tourisme propose une visite pour les groupes au parc Mauresque pour découvir les différentes essences. Il organise aussi différentes visites guidées pédestres pour découvrir la Ville d'Hiver et le parc Mauresque.
